My name is Aderibigbe Adeleye, A Student of Bowen University, Department of Food Science and Technology. I am a seasoned Graphics Designer (Design, Printing and Branding) and I also make wears(like Swearshirst, Joggers, Varsity Jackets, Round Neck, Cap and lot more).Contact - 08074485300
TELL US ABOUT THE DEFINNING MOMENT WHEN YOU DECIDED TO START YOUR BUSINESS ?
Early September 2015, I recieved a call from my mentor. He asked me to come over to his place. When i got there, he told me to start something I have passion for. I discovered it was time to fuel my passion for graphics designing. I could not start immediately because of the training fee but My mentor met my boss and i made a part payment. I started the training Janaury 2016.
HOW DID YOU KNOW YOU HAD A VISIBLE BUSINESS IDEA ?
When i started graphics designing I dont have any idea of what to do with it. The more i keep learning, the more I keep having ideas to make things work. I beleive my passion, time and thirst to always become better will make me scale through difficult times.
WHAT WAS YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE IN BUSINESS ?
My biggest challenge is TIME. Balancing my time for all areas of my life is not actually easy. Graphics designing needs time. I have to major on the major and minor on the minor. And I don't get involved in unnecessary conversation anytime I have work. The method of "Doing the first thing first" is really a good method to adopt. I set goals sometime s when I have alot jobs to deliver.
HOW DID YOU OVERCOME IT ?
My number 1 Rule is to make my customers happy by doing a great job and with early delivery! BUSINESS
DO YOU HAVE ANY NON - NEGOTIABLE RULES IN BUSINESS ?
I make sure am connected to God more daily because He is the source of all great ideas.
- I spend at least 3hours every day either on Tutorial or designing something.
- I read books daily (e.g Personal Development books, Management Books, Human Relation Books and Marketing Books)
- I intentionally CONNECT with my customers
WHAT ARE THE DIALY HABITS THAT HAVE HELPED YOU SUCEED ?
6) If you are in business like me don't give up and stop doing things the same way expecting different result. You can always improve yourself. Go for more trainings, seminars or get books that will bless you.
And if you really want to start something never let money be the reason why you didnt start, the world was framed with the word, so you also need the word to make money and have other things. There will never have enough time and there is not other perfect time than NOW!. Start with what you have and grow BIG.
