Turban is a fashion statement that has come to stay. Turban is very trendy these days and ladies wear it to various occasion. Something about turban is that it can be also be worn on corporate wears.But, just how did this trend originated ?
A turban  is a type of headwear based on cloth winding. Featuring many variations, it is worn as customary headwear by men of various countries. Communities with prominent turban-wearing traditions can be found in the Indian Subcontinent, Afghanistan, South Asia, the Arabian Peninsula, the Middle East, the Near East, Central Asia, North Africa, the Horn of Africa, the Sahel, and parts of the Swahili Coast.
Wearing turbans is common among Sikhs, including women. The headgear also serves as a religious observance, including among Shia Muslims, who regard turban-wearing as Sunnah Mu'akkadah . Also, turbans have often been worn by nobility, regardless of religious background. They are also sometimes donned to protect hair or as a headwrap for women following cancer treatments.

Here in Nigerian, many women have appreciated to use of turban and have really embraced it. Turbans come in various styles, colour and shape. Something of note is that the turban is  relatively cheap and the business has been embraced because of the increasing demand.

Here Are Ways To Tie A Turban.
Start with making a ponytail at the crown. If you have long hair, make a bundle, securing the hair with the help of pins. Throw a scarf on your head, cross ends at the forehead and pull back. Cross your ends on the back of the head and pull the back forward. Now cross your ends at the level of the forehead and above. Pull the ends of the back and secure by tying a knot. It turns out that the first shawl girth is made around the head and the second - just around the hair bundle. The edges of the scarf are hidden in the folds of a turban
.
