You Should Try This Savoury Recipe For Masa (Hausa Rice Cake) Straight Away

Masa or Rice cake is a special delicacy popular in the Northern part of Nigeria. It is one of those very interesting dishes you probably don’t know is made from rice.
Just before you get your rice out, we have to tell you that for this dish, you can not use your regular rice rather a special one known as the Tuwo rice is used and it should be uncooked.
This Tuwo rice is then soaked in water for 6 hours or overnight, drained and blend to make the paste required for the Masa.
The Masa is a very tasty snack you can have as a meal if you so wish and today we will be teaching you a special way of making it.
To make yours at home you will need
– Tuwo rice or Jasmine rice
–  Yeast
– Sugar
– Salt
– Ginger
– Onion

– Groundnut oil
– Danbu Nama or replace with dried beef pieces
