The former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, has rented his 25-room building to the Ogun state local government area - The former president rented the rooms for N10 per annum- The building will serve as the secretariat of the newly established Coker-Ibogun Local Council Development AreaA former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, has rented out his building in Ibogun village in Ifo local government area of Ogun state.The former president rented the house out at N10 per annum for the use of the recently established Coker-Ibogun Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Premium Times reports.It was gathered that the 25-room building with facilities such as water, toilets and a standby generator will function as the secretariat of the council.READ ALSO: Payment glitch occurs in NYSC system, corps members get double-allowee Confirming the gesture by Obasanjo, the chairman of council, Jowon Gbedebo said the action by the former president would boost development in the area.He said the rooms were made available to members of the Ogun state House of Assembly committee on local government and chieftaincy affairs, led by Olusola Sonuga, who were on oversight function to the area.He said the Coker-Ibogun council has managed to rehabilitate an extension of a mini water scheme and sink a motorized borehole in the area.
